Seville

…Inspiration From A Dream

Tomas Michaud SpainI enjoy traveling and my 2nd favorite place to go is Spain (I'll tell you about my favorite place in a later email). I've traveled through many parts of Spain including Toledo, Barcelona, Zamora, Granada (land of guitar makers), Madrid and Seville.

This first song came to me while I was asleep in my hotel room in Spain. I had a dream that I was sitting in front of a CD player listening to a song on one of my CDs. I was really enjoying it when I woke up at about 3:00 am. I could still hear the melody in my mind. It was so real I began trying to remember which CD it was on.

After about 30 seconds, I realized it wasn't on any of my CDs and I jumped out of bed and went into the bathroom with my guitar. I could immediately play the melody to the song and captured it on my little digital recorder that I carry with me when I travel. I named it in honor of the beautiful city I was staying in, Seville.
